Author Guidelines

  1. The manuscript to be published to the Jurnal Pakar Pengabdian Ekonomi Kreatif must be original, unpublished and not in the publishing process. The manuscript may be the result of research or theory review in the field of : 
    • Development of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs)
    • Empowerment of creative industries and the digital economy
    • Entrepreneurship training and financial literacy programs
    • Economic inclusion and optimization of local potential
    • Innovation in product design, marketing strategies, and branding
    • Business model development and technology transfer
    • Community-based sustainable economic development
  2. The manuscript format is prepared in Indonesian or English and written in a concise and precise manner. Manuscripts will not exceed 14 pages including references and attachments. Scriptwriting templates can be accessed and downloaded on Article Tamplate
  3. The manuscripts are arranged in the order of titles (capital letters) in Indonesian and English, author names without title and affiliation and email correspondence of author, abstract and keywords, introductions, research methods, results and discussion, conclusions and suggestions, as well as a bibliography. Sub-sections can be added as needed. Systematics of writing is not required numbering in each chapter.
  4. The abstract consists of 100-250 words, typed one space consisting of problems, objectives, methods, results and conclusions, written in English for the Indonesian language script as well as in Indonesian and English for English manuscripts. After the abstract should be written keywords that fit the topic of research.
  5. All tables and figures should be given a title in the text and numbered in Arabic numerals as well as added captions if required.
  6. An author wishing to submit a paper to the Jurnal Pakar Pengabdian Ekonomi Kreatif should send it by email to utamipublisher@gmail.com All correspondence, including notification of the Editor's decision and requests for revision, takes place electronically.
  7. Article Categories: Authors must categorize their paper according to the type that best describes its content. The following categories are accepted for publication in Jurnal Pakar Pengabdian Ekonomi Kreatif:
    • Community Service Research Paper
      This category includes papers reporting on research-based community service in the field of creative economy. It may involve needs assessments, pilot projects, action research, evaluations, surveys, or development and testing of models or frameworks related to MSME development, entrepreneurship, or creative industries.
    • Technical Paper
      Papers in this category describe and evaluate the implementation of technical solutions, tools, or methods applied in economic empowerment efforts. Examples include product innovation, financial tools, digital platforms, branding strategies, or creative production techniques introduced through community engagement.
    • Conceptual Paper
      These papers provide theoretical or conceptual insights related to the creative economy and community development. They may include discussions on models of economic empowerment, entrepreneurship education, or innovation diffusion, and are not necessarily based on field research.
    • Case Study Reports
      This category includes descriptive accounts of real-world community service projects or economic empowerment interventions. Case studies may present challenges, processes, and outcomes from implementing programs in areas such as local product development, digital transformation, or capacity building for MSMEs and creative businesses.
  8. Revised manuscript. The author has to revise the manuscript at least 1 month after being received from the Jurnal Pakar Pengabdian Ekonomi Kreatif journal management team (first edited paper). Papers sent back to the Journal Jurnal Pakar Pengabdian Ekonomi Kreatif management team after one month are considered new submissions. Revised printed manuscripts must be re-submitted 1 week after received from the Jurnal Pakar Pengabdian Ekonomi Kreatif journal management team.
  9. The bibliography or References are arranged alphabetically from the first and the next author. The References list only contains the references cited in the manuscript. If there are two manuscripts or more of the same author and year, mark with a, b, c, and so on after the year of publication. Consider the following example formats
