Abstract

Sexual violence in Indonesia continues to increase year by year. Sex education is needed as one way to reduce cases of sexual violence, especially in early childhood and elementary school children. The purpose of this research on sex education for elementary school children includes several aspects that focus on developing children's knowledge, attitudes, and behavior in understanding their bodies and protecting themselves. This study uses the R&D method through the ADDIE model approach which has 5 stages, the first is needs analysis, the second is making a storyboard and design, the third is development, the fourth is implementation with a feasibility test by experts and implementation in two schools and three parents, and the fifth is evaluation of the results. The ADDIE development model was chosen because the stages in this model are clear and structured. The results of the feasibility test for material experts obtained a score of 94.4%, media experts obtained 94.2%, and language experts obtained 87.5%. Then the results of the assessment of first-grade teachers obtained 90.6%, second-grade teachers obtained 87.5%, and third-grade teachers obtained 87.5%. Furthermore, the first parent's assessment results were 91.6%, the second parent's 86.1%, and the third parent's 88.8%. The average overall enjoyment score was 89.8%, a very good interpretation. It can be concluded that the developed product is suitable for use in classroom and home learning.
