Peran Plang Gang dalam Meningkatkan Aksesibilitas dan Ketertiban Lingkungan di RT 27

Abstract

Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN) is a type of student service to the community that aims to make a real contribution in a participatory manner to solving environmental and social problems. In RT 27 RW 04, Pematang Gubernur Village, Bengkulu City, there is a problem with inadequate alley name signs. This makes it difficult for the community, visitors, and public service officers to identify and access residential areas. Through the creation and installation of alley name signs, this effort aims to improve the order and accessibility of the environment. Activities included field observation, planning and coordination, sign creation, installation, and monitoring and evaluation. The activities were carried out in a participatory manner, involving KKN students and the local community. The activity lasted for three days (January 12–14, 2026). The results of the activity showed that name signs placed in strategic and easily visible locations were successfully installed in all target alleys. The alley name signs improved the orderliness of the environment, facilitated location identification, and supported smooth social activities and administrative services. In addition, active community participation increased a sense of ownership and responsibility for maintaining environmental facilities. Thus, this KKN activity not only solved regional information problems in a practical way, but also helped increase community participation and awareness of sustainable residential environmental management.
