Optimalisasi Penataan Lingkungan melalui Program Penomoran Rumah Warga RT.05 RW.02 Sawah Lebar Kota Bengkulu

Abstract

Regularity of population administration is an important aspect in governance at the local level, Neighborhood Association 05, Citizens Association 02, Sawah Lebar Village, Bengkulu City, there are still many residents' houses that do not have permanent house numbers, thus complicating the process of data collection, document delivery, and public services. This community service activity aims to reorganize the numbering system of residents' houses to be more uniform, permanent, and easily recognized. The implementation was carried out in a participatory manner by students of the Dehasen University of Bengkulu Community Service Program together with the Head of RT 05 and local residents through the stages of planning, field surveys, making number boards, installation, and evaluation of the results. The results of the activity showed an increase in the visual order of the environment and ease in population administration. Residents were actively involved in the entire process of activities, which resulted in an increased sense of ownership and awareness of the importance of environmental order. This program succeeded in creating a uniform and neatly arranged house numbering system, while strengthening the values of mutual cooperation and community participation. This activity can be used as a model of community service that is effective, sustainable, and easy to implement in other areas.
