Optimalisasi Proses Produksi UMKM Lokal di Sekitar Kampus STT Wastukencana melalui Pendekatan Teknik Industri

Abstract

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) play a crucial role in supporting the local economy, including MSMEs located around the STT Wastukencana campus. However, many MSMEs still face challenges in their production processes, such as inefficient workflows, unorganized work layouts, and low productivity levels. This community service activity aims to optimize the production processes of local MSMEs through the application of an Industrial Engineering approach. The methods used include field observation, interviews, analysis of production workflows, and assistance in improving simple production processes. The results indicate improvements in workflow organization, reduced production time, and increased awareness among MSME actors regarding the importance of work efficiency. This activity is expected to contribute to sustainable productivity improvement and the adoption of more effective work systems for local MSMEs.
